For Dominelli Ford we facilitated separating much of their I.T. Infrastructure from the parent company when the business was sold back to the original owners. This involved migrating all the desktops to a new Windows 2003 Active Directory, migrating all Exchange mailboxes to a new Exchange Server, and introducing new Anti-virus and Anti-spam protection.
For Rockdale Mazda we facilitated a similar separation when the business changed hands. This one was more complicated as all I.T. services were shared with the business next door, including IP Phones, Exchange mailboxes, active directory, internet access, and site-to-site network services.
Over many weeks we facilitated the installation of new services, communication racks, structured cabling, and associated network and computer hardware to take over from the shared I.T. infrastructure. We worked with the local staff and the various service and hardware vendors right from the initial specification and quoting stage through to implementation and migration.
For AFADU we worked pro-bono to help come up with a solution for reliable phone communications at a foreign aid project site in a remote part of Zimbabwe, South Africa. This involved sourcing a reliable vendor to provide a satellite phone service able to provide both voice and data communications. They now have a means to keep in touch on a regular basis by phone or email, something that just wasn't possible before.
Again for Rockdale Mazda, we facilitated the installation of a new IP Phone System over multiple sites. This included sourcing a network vendor able to supply QOS-capable WAN services to ensure that voice calls were not affected by erratic and sometimes heavy data traffic patterns between the sites.
